On this blog I’ll be writing my thoughts on art and on our culture at large (sometimes with pictures – mine and others).  I promise short pieces with a point and a feminist slant.

Statements about my own work can be found in the writing section.  I have a brief artist statement there and a piece on my Good Girl Project.  There’s also a piece on my interest in beauty pageants and astronauts, and writings from the Good Girl Project.  The Good Girl writings are mostly funny, pointed ironic and very short.  These were written when I was active with the project in the 1990s.  I’m starting back to work on some new pieces in that style and will put them up when they’re done.  (I’m thinking of a new book which would reverse the text to image ratio of the Good Girl Book – from image with a little text, to text with a few images.)
